Its Thanksgiving.

Sitting here looking out at the snow flurries. Still cant get a tree up lmao. but that should be taken care of soon. Pat should be coming home this evening and Im going to hightail it out of here so i can let her rest. Ive had the story in my hand to finish up for angelus but cant seem to focus.
Thursday is thanksgiving. I do have alot to be thankful for. Im alive and kicking and being just as onery as ozzy. lmao. we made him acm and hes having a blast with it. I think hes had more fun holding it over my head that he can blind me. And true to "His Royal Ozzyness" word hes done that. a few times. but its all in good fun and Im enjoying watching him having fun with it. I told tammy we would pay hell for it lol but weve had fun with him too so turnabout is fair play.
I hope everyone has a happy thanskgiving and dont eat too much turkey!

I have my computer set up at a neighbors until i can get my internet back. So while shes gone to new york, im using the time well and taking care of her cat zeus. hes this huge himalayan persian. black and white. i think she over feeds him. he makes garfield look skinny lol
ive taught zeus how to play tag, and hide and seek. hes a bundle of energy. hes so fluffy.. she gets back on the 25th. Her father isnt doing too well and she wanted to go see him.
i hope to get the internet back eventually as i cannot stand not to get on it when i want to. or have it kept on at night so i get buzzed by friends who cant sleep. lol four hours is all i get and trust me with no computer to keep me busy im totally lost!

been at the computer all day. still looking for a job but just got to hang in there! got my christmas stuff out and to my surprise no stand for the stupid tree. oh well....id like a real one. but a fake one will be just as nice. its cool to look at the ornaments i have from christmas's gone by. i have a few from when the girls were little and one from my stepson.
but i think i love the ones best of all are the ones i have that friends have sent me. it used to be every year we would exchange an ornament. some of those friends i no longer see as they have moved away but it brings back alot of memories. great ones of the parties we would have and some of the stupid stuff we used to do.
but im ready got the cats christmas stockings up and mine. and my figurines and animated figures. i know im wiccan but this kinda brings back childhood memories that were awesome. we cling to those things we remember. and they were great memories too.

sitting here in pats apartment looking out the window while im typing. its cold outside and i took a nice long nap around three. not much to do here at the rave. Its really quiet on the net tonight. I guess people dreading getting up and going to work. I have the civil service test in the morning and I am kinda dreading it. I cant type as fast as what i used to do before the surgery but im giving it my best shot.
I dont think im going to get it for the simple fact more qualified people out there than me. why they feel the need to see how fast i can type is beyond me when all they really do is put the information in accurately not fast. but i will give it my best. and then look for a temp job.
My mother is pushing for me to move in and weve already had one argument on the phone and she thinks im going to move in with her? im telling you moving out of state might be my only salvation. typical mother daughter stuff but this is where it ends. period.

just hanging out today at pats working on the computer trying to get stuff done and practicing for the typing test tomorrow. I doubt if i get the job but thats ok i will find one this week. Rent if fast approaching.
not stressed
going to get out my christmas decorations and have nancy and pat over to help me decorate it. pats cat zeus has been keeping me company. hes laying on my shoes right now chewing on my shoestrings. lol hes a cute critter. going to stay for dinner. shes fixing chicken and dumplings.

got a letter from the civil service people about an exam coming up for a clerical position in the city. I have to be at the local high school to take the civil service typing test. I hope i get it. I dont think they want fast they just want accuracy. lol i use the back button alot. This couldnt come at a better time. still going to call the temp service tomorrow and hopefully get a job just to make ends meet. this could work out into something permanent. i sure hope so! the civil service test is on the 17th. at 730 in the morning. ugh...thats ok i wont mind a bit.

I hate being sick. especially with the stomach flu. i dont care how much pepto i take...that little twinge in the stomach says nope your not going to feel better yet!
oh and lets not forget the countless number of times running to the bathroom. ( rolls eyes ) i hope its just the 24 hour bug.

my internet went down and ive been totally lost. But thanks to my friends in La Rose Noir, Tammy and Ozzy and angel and countless others who called me to keep me sane. Its friends like this who dont make me feel so alone. I know there were a few who had no idea i was gone. and thats partly my fault. Ive been looking for a job and trying to get my life back on track.
Ive managed to keep my apartment for one more month and I refuse to give it up. Good things are waiting for me i just know it! even with all the upheaval in my life, I am happy and content. The holidays are coming and this year intend to enjoy it. Going to buy some pagan yule cards and send them out hopefully if i dont let time get away from me like i do every year.
To all my friends here I love you and thanks so much without all of you i wouldnt be who i am..
